TRAINING OVERVIEW

We offer virtual and in person classes. We teach parents and professionals to address the specific challenges that come with raising, protecting and finding justice for children. Our preference is to connect with you in person and discuss prevention!

We do have educational opportunities for children. Please look over our available classes and fill out a contact form to get started.

Prevention Starts with Parents:
What to Know & What to Do About It

This presentation is designed to simplify the responsibility of preventing child sexual abuse, empowering parents with practical tools and knowledge. While the issue itself is complex, the core message is clear: you don’t need to be a professional to protect your children. This training will help you feel confident in recognizing risks, having prevention-focused conversations, and taking proactive steps to keep your children safe.

Prevention Partner

This training explores the full scope of child sexual abuse—from grooming behaviors to ongoing abuse—by examining how perpetrators gain access and maintain control. Participants will also learn strategies for prevention at both the individual and organizational levels, along with best practices for responding to suspicions or disclosures of abuse.

This training is available to youth serving organizations or groups that serve children and families.

The Littles, Middles, Tweens & Teens

Please connect with us directly to discuss details about a class for children. We will need to ensure the training(s) time will be developmentally appropriate. A prerequisite to a child class may be that the parents also receive education.

Classes for children are only offered in person.

Successful Investigations from the Start:
The Art of Minimal Facts Interviews

This training provides a comprehensive overview of minimal facts interviews and how they support child abuse investigations and child safety.

Participants will learn how to ask developmentally appropriate questions, recognize when and how to conduct interviews, and identify signs of polyvictimization and adult influence—all while prioritizing the child’s well-being.

This training is only available to MDT partners.

"I brought Alison in to coach our parents and volunteers on how to protect children. The feedback I got from all of them was that the class was incredibly helpful and thought-provoking. The conversation about how to protect children doesn't happen nearly enough but every time it does it has the impact to protect even more children. Bringing Alison in is a must.”
